A SUPER DAY at BYU

Yes, we are super happy folks.
We couldn't be more delighted for Rick and Shelley.
Graduation day is here and we are just super giddy.
And, just in case you don't know this...Paul is super cute!

I don't think I can say this enough.
Steve and Cindy are some of the greatest people we know.
And they have a great son too!

Go Cougars!

Rick is looking very collegiate here.
I wonder what he's hiding up his sleeves. Could there be a sword?

Grandma Chatfield is a real super trooper to come and support these super great kids.

Something about the BYU graduation air made lots of people frisky.

What did I tell you about the frisky business!!
Aren't they just so cute.

Anytime the sisters can get together is a great time.
It was sad to not have Carlie and Kellie with us,
but they were at home performing in their school play Wild Oats.
(A different post of course.)

On the first day of the graduation gatherings, Elder Bednar was the guest speaker. It was wonderful to hear his inspiring words. He spoke about our ever changing world. And even though these kids are graduating after learning so much great stuff, their learning should not stop. We should all have a lifetime of learning, something we should be willing to do and be exciting about.
Wendy and Russ were able to be with us because they were picking up Brittany from BYU.
So perfect timing to share in this great event. Plus they are both BYU Alums.
And of course, BYU is where they met and fell in love.....aaahhhhhh!!

These are some great people that helped with Shelley's and Rick's college success.
Rick and Shelley wanted their celebritory meal to be at IHOP.
The food was yummy. I had the chocolate chip pancakes. It's tradition.

This is my mom Judi. She joined us for the festivities.
Shelley is her first grandchild to graduate college.
I think Julie is so cute.

What a super exciting day!!! Congratulations to Rick and Shelley.
They worked hard and did a great job of supporting each other.
They have been married 2 1/2 years.
They are super smart, super cute and will be super great adults.
